On behalf of our client, a dynamic startup company, specializing in maritime and offshore sectors we are seeking a motivated and skilled Pre-Sales Engineer to join their growing team in Greece. This role is ideal for a dynamic professional with a strong background in cybersecurity and technical sales, who thrives in a customer-facing environment and is able to work independently to drive results.

 

As a key part of their sales team, you will support the full sales cycle by aligning technical solutions with client needs, delivering impactful presentations, and building strong customer trust. Your ability to combine technical knowledge with excellent interpersonal skills will be vital to the company’s growth across the maritime and energy sectors.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Act as the technical expert throughout the sales process, from initial discovery to solution design, demos, and PoC support

Understand client challenges and effectively position cybersecurity solutions to address them

Support sales engagements independently, while closely collaborating with account executives and technical teams

Represent the company with professionalism in client meetings, industry events, and technical discussions

 

Requirements:

 

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, with a solid understanding of modern threats, technologies, and compliance standards

Prior experience in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical consulting role

Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to varied audiences

Fluency in both English and Greek

Self-driven, well-organized, and able to operate with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Experience or familiarity with the maritime or energy industries

Knowledge of cybersecurity regulations such as IMO 2021, NIS2, or ISO 27001
