PHP Developer

On behalf of our client, a UK-based software company that provides Operations Management System solutions for the oil industry, we are looking for a Full Stack Developer (PHP), to join their growing team. What you will do

• Backend Development (PHP / Node.js)
• Develop and maintain web applications and RESTful APIs using PHP (Symfony framework).
• Build Node.js services or scripts for asynchronous processing or microservices (if applicable).
• Integrate MySQL and PostgreSQL databases efficiently using Doctrine or raw SQL as needed.
• Use Redis for caching, queueing, and session management to improve performance.
• Work closely with product owners, QA engineers, and designers in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
• Maintain clear documentation for APIs, database models, and system architecture.

Required Qualifications

• At least 3-4 years of experience with PHP, ideally Symfony framework.
• Good understanding of functional requirement documents.
