Junior Data Scientist - Athens, Hybrid (3-2)
Data Scientist/Data AnalystOur client is a leading analytics firm helping businesses make smarter decisions through data. The role exists to bring strong data science capability to a team that works directly with senior stakeholders and needs someone who can move fluently between complex modelling and clear business communication.
The Role
You will analyse large datasets, build machine learning models and produce insights that feed directly into strategic decision-making at the highest level. In your first six months, you will get close to the business's key analytical challenges, deliver at least one end-to-end modelling project and establish a reporting framework that makes your findings impossible to ignore. You will be the person who turns data into decisions.
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of data science experience working with large datasets in a business environment
- Strong proficiency in Python or R, with hands-on experience building and validating machine learning models
- Solid statistical analysis skills and the ability to translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations
- Experience collaborating with data engineers to optimise data pipelines and ensure data quality
- Comfortable presenting complex analytical outputs to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI or equivalent
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and big data technologies
- Background in a client-facing or consultancy analytics environment
