On behalf of our client, an international shipbroking firm, with more than 150 years of maritime experience, we’re looking for a Frontend Developer with a strong focus on UX to help us build intuitive and efficient user-facing tools used daily by brokers, analysts, and internal stakeholders.
What you will do
- Develop responsive, interactive UIs for internal platforms and tools.
- Translate user requirements and complex workflows into clear, usable interfaces.
- Work closely with backend and data teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless user experiences.
- Maintain and evolve design systems and UI consistency across products.
- Conduct user feedback sessions, usability testing, and interface iterations.
- Ensure accessibility, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
Required Qualifications
At least 4 years of professional experience in frontend development.
Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks: React (preferred), Vue.js, Angular, or similar.
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript.
Proven experience in user interface design and user experience thinking.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating backend services.
Comfortable working in component-based architectures and using design systems.
Version control with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, or other design/prototyping tools.
Nice to Have
- Experience working on internal tools, dashboards, or data-heavy UIs.
- Understanding of data visualization libraries (e.g. D3.js, Chart.js, Plotly).
- Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress).
- Knowledge of Docker is a plus.
