On behalf of our client, a prominent player in the aviation and travel sector with a long-standing presence in Southeast Europe, we are seeking a motivated Database Administrator to join their dynamic IT team.

Your Day-to-day:

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain database systems and their infrastructure to ensure continuous and efficient operation.
  • Develop, manage, and support databases across development, staging, and production environments, prioritizing availability and resilience.
  • Work closely with developers, project managers, and both internal teams and external partners to enable application development and data-driven projects.
  • Handle setup, administration, and upkeep of SQL Server and Oracle environments to ensure optimal functionality and stability.
  • Implement security controls, reduce potential downtime, and fine-tune systems for better performance and responsiveness.
  • Safeguard data integrity by enforcing backup policies and designing reliable recovery strategies.

 

What we are looking for:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline.
  • Between 2 and 4 years of hands-on experience in a related database administration role.
  • Strong command of both spoken and written Greek and English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and Power BI.
  • Experience or familiarity with Oracle Database systems is considered an asset.
