Cloud Engineer (Azure)

Our client is a Microsoft Solutions Partner delivering Azure projects for enterprises in Greece, Cyprus and the wider region. With a strong pipeline of migration and modernisation work, they are looking for a Cloud Engineer who knows Azure inside out and enjoys working across different client environments.

The Role

As Cloud Engineer (Azure), you will design, deploy and support Azure infrastructure for clients, including virtual networks, compute, storage, identity and backup.

You will lead migrations from on-premise environments, automate deployments and provide ongoing optimisation and support.

This is an opportunity to deliver from day one: in your first six months you will take at least two client Azure projects from start to finish and help build the team's standard landing zone and deployment templates.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and support Azure networking, compute, storage, identity and backup for clients
• Lead migrations from on-premise environments to Azure
• Automate deployments with ARM, Bicep or Terraform
• Set up Azure Backup and Site Recovery for client workloads
• Optimise and support client Azure environments after go-live
• Build standard landing zones and deployment templates for the team
• Work directly with clients and explain technical choices clearly
• Visit client sites when needed

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking, VMs, storage, Entra ID and Azure Backup/Site Recovery
• Experience with ARM, Bicep or Terraform
• Good Windows Server background and PowerShell scripting skills
• Confidence working directly with clients and explaining technical choices

Nice to Have

• AZ-104, AZ-305 or AZ-700 certification
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop or Azure Arc
• Knowledge of Azure cost management and governance (Azure Policy, management groups)

What's in It for You

€2,300 – €3,200 Gross / Month, depending on experience and certifications. On-site in Thessaloniki, with occasional client visits.
