Assistant Network Engineer
Network TechnicianOn behalf of our client, a technology-driven organization operating in the networking and IT infrastructure sector, we are looking for an Assistant Network Engineer to join a growing technical team. Our client specializes in the distribution, support, and integration of networking solutions for businesses, providing both pre-sales consulting and post-sales technical support. The company works closely with international vendors and delivers reliable connectivity, network infrastructure, and system solutions to its customers, combining technical expertise with a strong customer-focused approach.
This is an On-site role with physical presence at the company’s premises (no remote work).
Your day-to-day
- Communicate with customers to handle back-office tasks related to RMA processes and product returns.
- Test, inspect, and validate the proper operation of networking equipment before and after deployment.
- Collaborate closely with suppliers and vendors to troubleshoot technical issues and manage RMA cases for network products.
- Provide remote technical assistance to customers for RMA cases and network device configuration.
- Deliver pre-sales and after-sales technical support for networking solutions.
- Monitor and support the company’s internal IT infrastructure, including systems and email servers.
- Maintain clear documentation and ensure smooth coordination between internal teams, customers, and partners.
What you will bring
- Degree or diploma in Network Engineering, IT, or a related technical discipline (IEK / TEI / AEI or equivalent).
- At least one year of hands-on experience in a similar networking or technical support role.
- Strong knowledge of wired network environments and solid understanding of TCP/IP protocols.
- Very good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a methodical and analytical mindset.
- Willingness to explore new technologies, tools, and technical best practices.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
- Completed military obligations (for male candidates).
Nice to have
- Familiarity with wireless networking concepts (RF).
- Experience with MikroTik RouterOS.
- Hands-on exposure to Ubiquiti networking products.
- Understanding of VoIP technologies.
- Knowledge of Windows Server environments.
- Experience with cPanel / WHM administration.
